In Canada you must be certified by Explosive Regulatory Division of Canada to acquire, store and use Display Fireworks and Special Effect Pyrotechnics. Before applying for certification, completion of the Safety & Awareness training course is required. Archangel Fireworks Inc. is a certified provider of these courses, offering both online virtual training and in person training.
We offer two separate training courses:
The Display Assistant Certificate is the entry level certification that will allow you to handle and shoot Display, "Professional" fireworks. You will learn how to safely set-up and fire professional fireworks while under the supervision of a federally licensed supervisor.
The Pyrotechnician Certificate is the entry level certification that will allow you to handle and shoot indoor and close proximity pyrotechnics. You will learn how to safely set-up and fire pyrotechnics while under the supervision of a federally licensed supervisor.
